Fed: Clark re-elected ATSIC chairman = 2
Longstanding Queensland commissioner RAY ROBINSON has been re-elected deputy chairmanof ATSIC by two votes.
Mr TATTEN says Mr ROBINSON, aged 55, secured the position nine votes to seven, afterthe distribution of one round of preferences.
All 17 commissioners cast their vote, but one didn't list their preferences.
On a two-person preferred basis, Mr ROBINSON -- deputy chairman since 1996 -- was electedahead of West Australian commissioner TERRY WHITBY.
Tasmanian commissioner RODNEY DILLON was the only other candidate for the position.
