Vic: Two killed overnight on Melbourne roads
MELBOURNE, Feb 7 AAP - A pedestrian and a cyclist were killed when they were hit by
cars in separate accidents in suburban Melbourne overnight.
A Brunswick man aged in his 50s died after being hit from behind by a van while cycling
in the left-hand lane of the Hume Highway at Fawkner, police spokeswoman Martine Sheppard
said.
The 29-year-old male driver of the van, from Yuroke, spoke with police after the 11pm
(AEDT) accident but no charges have been laid.
Investigations are continuing …
