Dhaka, May 22 -- The present government has pledged for the change in all areas including internet access since it wants to make Bangladesh digital.
The government are busy to provide facilities like promotions, retrospective promotions, and favourable transfers to government officials, loyal to the AL government and for the partisan of AL but no facilities has been done to get access to internet.
The monthly internet charge of BTCL is taka 920 and getting access to internet, a call charge of telephone adds in the internet bill every time. The GP's monthly charge is taka 978.
Both the charges are unbearable for the majority of the people and to get internet connection, uninterrupted electricity is needed.
The PM said the previous governments did not add a single unit of electricity to the national grid though it is not true. For this her government can not improve the situation of power.
If we believe the PM's speech, so why her government have not yet slashed the monthly charge of internet? In the meantime the incumbent government already passed more than 4 months.
For the greater interest of the people as well as the country, the internet rate should be reduced significantly and maintains uninterrupted electricity all over the country maintained.
