Vic: Crack down on electric shock toys in leadup to Xmas

The Victorian government is investigating the safety of electric shock games selling
this Christmas.

Consumer Affairs Minister MARSHA THOMSON says she's awaiting results on a variety of
the games .. over concerns they could be dangerous for people with specific health problems
.. like epilepsy.

So far this year .. the Victorian government has seized 15 thousand banned or unsafe
products and banned the sale of two new products .. monkey bikes and portable soccer goals.
