NSW: QE2 berths at Garden Island
SYDNEY, Feb 24 AAP - The 40-year-old ocean liner the QE2 has docked at Garden Island
in Sydney for the last time.
The Cunard ship, launched at Clydebank in Scotland by Britain's Queen Elizabeth in
1967, entered Sydney harbour at dawn and berthed at 7am (AEDT).
The QE2 joins her sister ship, the massive new Queen Victoria, which is already docked
at the overseas passenger terminal at Circular Quay.
It is the QE2's last visit to Australia, 30 years to the day since her 1978 …
