NSW: Teen charged with taking taxi on drunken drive
Police have charged a teenager with stealing a taxi and driving it through Sydney's
eastern suburbs while he was drunk.
The 16-year-old from Randwick allegedly hailed the cab with a number of other males
in Waverley about 10.30 last night.
Police allege the 16 year old slid into the driver's seat and drove off when the driver
got out to investigate the actions of another youth.
They finally caught up with the teenager in Bondi.
The teenager's been granted conditional bail to appear at Bidura Childrens Court on 24 August.
